An artist with a professional background in film and television, for over 8 years
I have been making work for a variety of visual media and contexts, including film, video, digital arts and installation.

I am excited by the cross-overs between ‘film-making’ and artistic-practice. Creative reflection on the moving image and its overwhelming presence in contemporary society currently informs my work.

Appropriating the tools of the moving image, I seek to create new forms of visual narrative with which the viewer/participant can engage, and new environments for viewing the work.

Fascinated by the illusive moving form, that can only ever be glimpsed as it floods behind glass or projects across surfaces, I am interested in the capacity of the moving image to visualise patterns of thought and sensation - especially those at the edge of articulation, on the periphery of vision, behind closed eyes.

Collaboration lies at the heart of my practice.
